suck it up buttercup!

We are having a great time out at the cabin, one of the highlights was watching Dad and JEff do their swim down at the beach, they did awesome! The wet suits fit like a glove with the help of mom, and after their bike and run, they both got to have a nap on the beach! kinda, until our umbrella decided to fly away and stab a girl in the face! { sorry no pics of that } but it got her good! Mom and I are planning on having a hard day at the beach tomorrow, making sand castles, eating junk and drinking pop. it's a hard life. Enjoy the pictures.

Also the kids and I have been out there by our selfs for a few days and it great, very quiet, and have had fun at the beach and feeding the horses.. ice cream, the list goes on, mom and I also hit up the fair that was going on in town, lots of great food, fun stuff to see, mom, carson and I even won us a free round of golf at the Fairmont Golf course! time to go...

This was a BUSY BUSY weekend it felt like, two trips to the hospital in the middle of the night, a movie, a birthday cake and dinner, Sick husband, and probably the best weather we have had yet! And it was all in the name of LOVE! Well at least the dinner I made and the yummy birthday cake. This post is for My loving husband who does so much for me and the kids! HAPPY BIRTHDAY,  you don't look a day over 18, So I am told all the time! Enjoy the singing the kids did for JEff! I know we did over and over again!  LOVE YOU JEFFY!

Quinn was in a cute little play last week.. the teacher had to put a dog part in the play cause that is all she wanted to be, her part was to Bark aaaaannnnddd I'm sure you all know how she did!

Easter Sunday! 


Today was a warm day... got kinda chilly in the evening , but not a bad day! My car was in the shop today so mom helped drop off the Quinn in the afternoon at school, I decided to walk down and get the kids from school when they were done, because I didn't have a car. The walked all the way home and liked it... it's pretty far to!  When I got home Jessica was at my house and she was on a walk to, so we decided to take the kids to the park, I think it was a long winter cause the kids played and played and played. When Jeff got home we decided to go swimming for FHE, just as Quinn and I get in the pool the Fire alarm goes off, and they tell everyone to get out of the pool, we were all standing there wet and cold... well then they told everyone at the YMCA to get out of the building.. so out we went wet, cold and only in our towels ... for a good 20 mins.  by the time we went back in the water felt like a hot tub cause we were to cold!  Jeff got some training in tonight for the TRI ... I'm so excited for him!  .... I am including some pics of the new Bass store we went  to over the weekend! it's huge and FUN! The weather had been great the passed what...three days!  and I have been taking full advantage sitting out on the deck, walks, riding bikes, and tomorrow going to go walk Jordan Dog... Quinn and I have a little dog walking business. Easter is tomorrow and I thought the kids were looking a little ragged so I purposed a Chop Shop session.... Hair cuts! I wacked off Quinns hair and gave Carson the usual so they would look clean for Pictures. Jeff was next in line but unfortunately the FLAMES won so his hair stays put for now... sorry mom!  We feel kinda lonely here with everyone been out of town. Hope everyone has a great EASTER!

EARTH HOUR

Today was Earth Hour!  SOOO at 8:30 from 9:30 we unplugged everything. We lite candles and sat in the dark for an hour. Sounds fun hey, Well it was, We went to the store and bought earthy food { grapes, watermelon, stawberries }  And the kids thought it was going to be like camping so we had to get smore stuff.  We sat and talked about how lucky we are to even have power and back in the day this is how they lived. It seemed dark at first but then it felt bright in the house and it was really quiet and peaceful, we all had fun and the kids were sad it had to end. The kids want to do this once a week so I guess we will have Earth Day every family home evening, if you want to live in the past for an hour come to our house around 6 on mondays! 

All in all we had fun lighting the candles, eating fruit and smores and taking fun Earth Day family pictures in the DARK.  Oh and the kids cant wait for the Movie EARTH to come out on April 22!  I have been impressed with Carson, he really takes a liking to space, earth and anything to do with recycling ..He is my earth muffin! He especially is looking forward to the movie. He sits and watches the trailer over and over, I dont blame him it does look pretty awesome! enjoy the way to many pictures I posted.
