EARTH HOUR

Today was Earth Hour!  SOOO at 8:30 from 9:30 we unplugged everything. We lite candles and sat in the dark for an hour. Sounds fun hey, Well it was, We went to the store and bought earthy food { grapes, watermelon, stawberries }  And the kids thought it was going to be like camping so we had to get smore stuff.  We sat and talked about how lucky we are to even have power and back in the day this is how they lived. It seemed dark at first but then it felt bright in the house and it was really quiet and peaceful, we all had fun and the kids were sad it had to end. The kids want to do this once a week so I guess we will have Earth Day every family home evening, if you want to live in the past for an hour come to our house around 6 on mondays! 

All in all we had fun lighting the candles, eating fruit and smores and taking fun Earth Day family pictures in the DARK.  Oh and the kids cant wait for the Movie EARTH to come out on April 22!  I have been impressed with Carson, he really takes a liking to space, earth and anything to do with recycling ..He is my earth muffin! He especially is looking forward to the movie. He sits and watches the trailer over and over, I dont blame him it does look pretty awesome! enjoy the way to many pictures I posted. 

Dinner..... Done!

We have had our basement developed for about 3 years now, And I can never get the kids to go play down there.. not kidding they have Never just gone down there by them selfs and played NEVER.. they run around up here and I will say , you guys have the whole basement to go have fun it, now go play.. Well I had to say that today  AGAIN, and what do you know they did. SO they played and played, well Quinn came up a long time after and told me she had "hung" some of her pictures on the wall, I thought oh on the CORK board I have down there for them, ok... SO I go down there and well pictures speak louder the words.........I have 20 holes in my wall. Thanks Quinn your pictures are great!

SO we had another great day! Ida was blessed and we had another fun night of food and games!  I got some great pictures, I think everyone did. I am giving out another shout out to MOM And DAD for the best times possible! You all love you! 

JUST LIKE NEW.

Well it finally came.. I was dreading this day would come, and it came to fast. I remember sitting in the hospital right after I had Carson and having flashes of this day. For some reason I have never worried about Carson, He has a gentle spirit about him and he has a love for others, he is a pleaser and a good example. The Baptism was great! Dad gave a great talk and we had all our loved ones there. minus a few, we were thinking of you! I had to fight back tears, and let a few slide the spirit was strong, I just want to thank everyone for coming and supporting! We have a wonderful family.. As Jeff and I drove home from mom and dads tonight, we had a different feeling to of responsibility. And how it wasn't just Carson who went through a change but also us as parents.. it is a neat feeling!  We want everyone to know how much we love and appreciate Carson being in our home! And I know he loves all of you family members so much ..Audrey He misses you and hopes you have a great Baptism to, he is excited for you! Dahl he misses running with you and playing football, and Ty he misses making you laugh! Preston he misses playing with you and giggling!  And as for the rest of the cousins, Carson was so happy that you could be here he couldn't stop talking about it all the way home! I asked Carson if he felt different, and he said he felt older.  Mom and Dad thank you for helping out and for all your support all your Grandkids are great because of you guys!   AND I CANT BELIEVE IT BUT.... As I was uploading all the pictures I noticed I dont have one with Carson and DAD! I am so upset...... how did that happen? AHHHH. THe only picture I get of dad is serving others.. of course dad is the best example of that! I'm sorry dad, I will have to get one tomorrow.
