I think it's been over a month or two since I posted.. Lots has happened, mothers day, Birthdays, long weekends... Lets start by saying Ivy's eyes are now 100% and she can see! she just started to roll! and we are now working on sitting! this is big! She is still the happiest little thing ever, and I cant wait to wake up every morning to see her! SHe still has no teeth , I keep thinking they are coming but they never show, and we are still working on eating... Every day counts with her, and I think she is doing just Lovely! SHe has her BIG one year heart check up coming up and I cant help but feel a little nervous. I will let you know how that goes. SHe also gets her Helmet off this Tuesday, Just in time for summer! To be honest I am going to miss her in that helmet, she looks so cute in it.

Carson is finishing up grade 4 hmmmm , junior High next year, I'm not ready for that.

Quinn asked for high lights yesterday hmmmm not sure how I feel about that one either.. Why do kids have to grow up!? Both have had a great year at school , Carson loves being on the safety patrol, and Quinn really enjoyed being in the school choir.

Jeff has been working on the new South Hospital, and is always learning with his work, and I just keep the flow going here at home. I am really excited to see every one in July can't wait!! See ya then!

Ivy had a rough night, she cried and cried all night.. her eyes seem to be hurting her a lot.. she doesn't open them much and they are really red when she does. it's hard to get her drops in her eyes. I am hoping in the next day or two they start feeling a little better for her.. she is tired and uncomfortable. The cold she has isn't helping much either.

Ivy has a way of making you feel really special, she looks right into you and studies your every move... The nurses today fell head over heels over her and one ended up staying the whole time with her, she just couldn't leave... You know when you get a puppy and you wish they would stay all cute and puppyish forever? Well that is how I feel about Ivy, I feel like she hasn't "grown " much just stuck in a newborn world, she still just sits still and lays in your arms with out any fuss, looking up at you smiling here and there... Today Ivy went in to get her eyes fixed.. she was a superstar! Thank you for all that was thinking of her today, it ment a lot.. and for all the help Jessica , sandra, stacey your phone calls have ment the world!

Ivy went to get her Helmet Yesterday, We showed up, the DR Put on the Sharp Jagged edged helmet then started marking where she needed to shave off areas for a better fit. It took awhile and taking the helmet on and off and on and off was not FUN for the little Miss. Finally after 2 1/2 hours of filing and bending and adding extra Vent holes it fit great! It is going to be a long 4 to 5 months, this helmet is SO hard to get on and off and and I know I am hurting her every time I do.. Yesterday we had to leave it on for an hour take it off for an hour and so on ALL DAY! Today is Two hours on one hour off, ALL DAY! tomorrow four hours on one hour off, then by Saturday it's on for 23 hours a day one hour off, for 4-5 months. Once it is on she is good with it and happy, I tell ya though I am glade it's not hot out here right now cause her head is SO sweaty in it. Next on her list is her eyes, By the time this Lady is one she will be shooting lasers from her eyes and crushing rocks with her head, BIONIC BABE!

Well it's official we can't get enough of Ivy. The kids love her to death and Ivy knows it! SHe is growing well and is probably one of the happiest babies out there. I feel like she is just happy to be here. Ivy will be sporting a new helmet by next week or CRANIAL ORTHOSIS , and she will be having her eye surgery{ for her STRABISMUS} by next month. She will be also having her Genetic testing done on the 7th of Feb and then in for one more EKG before the big one.... the one that will determine it it's indefinite or not.. Fingers Crossed and lots of prayers. I put up a short video of her head scan below, she did awesome and looked cute while doing it. On the up side Ivy is holding her head better, Her physiotherapist is feeling like she is progressing ... Slowly but it's progress. Any progress makes us happy I think it makes her happy to!

Lots has happened lately, IN early October Quinn turned 7 .. she is growing up fast. We had a fun party for her and she had all her cousins over, I love having birthdays in a month with a holiday, it;s so much fun to decorate for! I figure she will always have fun halloween parties for her birthdays! We then had thanksgiving which was wonderful, we spent it out at karyns farm, and had ham, turkey you name it!! it was a yummy dinner! Then came Remembrance Day, The school had an AWESOME assembly this year I always get choked up a little during it. Then we decided to go the Military Museum and see all the planes, Tanks, and interesting stuff there. We had missed the big Ceremony they had there just by a little, we will have to get to it next year. Carson is very into Ships, and Tanks, Planes, HE loves War stuff, He read Grandpa Woods Bio Book he wrote and loves all the stories in to. He says his next Museum he wants to see is Pearl Harbour.. we are working on that one. It truly is amazing what others have sacrificed for our safety, we are very thankful for all who have! I think we will go to the museum ever year just to renew that thankfulness. Ivy is growing well, and is doing great off her Medication, she is more awake and alert. Her Next appointment is in a few weeks, so it will be interesting to see what it shows! {Prayers please}.

On another note, Carson is in the school SPELLING BEE, he is really excited about it! And Quinn is in the Chess club. She came home the other day all disappointed that she wasn't in the school Chior, I later found out it was first come first serve... she didn't sign up in time, maybe next year! she loves to get up there and sing and dance! she is already doing songs and dances for their Christmas Concert . Can't wait for that one!

UP next is Christmas, and it looks like it outside.. we are getting snow tonight and our Tree is already up! Is yours???

BASKETBALL that is! Quinn and Anna AND Cole all started Basketball this Friday and are all on the same team, With the BEST coaches around... JEFF and CHUCK! So cool! It will be a fun year For all of them I am sure! We have three nights a week with basketball this year and I am really looking forward to it! It's my favorite thing to do .. the nurse cuts out there EKGs into heart shapes and gives them to the kids.. if you look closely to the heart, on the second and third row between v5 and V6 the funny looking jumps in the EKG is her Wolf Parkinson White.

She did so well!

Ivy had her two month check up with her Cardiologist yesterday and she did great! We were hoping for better news, but not much has changed with her condition Wolf Parkinson White{WPW} or the Regurgitation of blood flow in her heart chambers. But she is doing fine and still having perfect heart rhythms. We talked about long term effects, medicine, what to do in case it does start to race and future procedures she could possible have. it was all good news but still makes me sad and I have a hard time talking about it.... I feel like I need to go have a good cry before and after the appointments then I can have a normal conversation about it. The Dr couldn't believe the routine We had with her medicine, she about fell off her chair when we told her I had been giving her medicine everyday at 12, 8 and 4 in the morning, She gave us a different medicine, to only give twice a day hopefully that will give me more sleep in the night. We love our little Ivy and keep hoping for the best, If anything changes it will be around the Year mark.. if nothing changes by that time{ as in she grows out of it } then she will have it for life and we will have do consider options for her to make her more comfortable or normal with her heart.

kids started school last week, and they have loved it so far, Quinn has a wonderful new teacher and carson has his from last year thank heavens! she was awesome! Ivy and I just stare at each other all day and I am Just happy with that! couldn't be happier. We also added to our family last week, the addition was a new van! I am in love with it! I think we all are. Carson came home the other day from school really excited, he said they handed out forms for the school patrol in the morning and after school crosswalk, well He is Determined to be apart of that team! He is sick right now with strep or flu. soooo I guess we are kicking the first week of school off really well, it was just a matter of time before the kids started getting sick with something. never fails. Jeff is also starting to play hockey again Wed nights. It was the long weekend here and We ended up going down on 17th with JEss and CJ to TUBBY DOGS, we all got something different, I got he SLAW DOG, Jess got a make your own Jeff got the chilly dog, I cant remember what CJ got but they all looked HUGE and interesting. I think Jeff is the only one that finished his. then we walked around and saw some interesting things.. a little REBA and a little TRANY DUNK Quinn got all painted up it was ....FUN!... just wish the weather was nicer.

It has been 5 weeks since Little Ivy was born and when I say little she seems LITTLE to us! We are always commenting how little she is, so we have nicknamed her " little one " She has been healthy and happy and just pure joy to have around! We are very happy she is with us. Carson loves to get up early to check for poop, he loves to change diapers and I'm sure if he could feed her he would to! He will be an awesome dad one day! Quinn loves........ freezes, she is still getting use to another lady in the house! she is good with giving kisses and is wanting to hold her more now that she is awake more! All in all we love her and can't wait for all the stages of growth with her!

our little Ivy has some serious leg action going on! She was Breach and probably for awhile, she came out doing the reverse splits and has been making us laugh with her high kicks ever since! I love her little legs and how they go in every direction a few have even hit her flat in the nose! Jeff calls her Kermit and dave thought she looked like a gopher that had been hit by a car, with her legs straight up in the air! I think it's cute and loves her FREE KICKS!

Quinn got new glasses, she loves them!

Well JEFF did it! HE is done { for now he says } He GRADUATED today! It was so neat to see him in his robe and hat, he looked very handsome!! As I sat up in the seats, I couldn't help but get a lump in my throat, I am so proud of him the kids thought he did awesome and it was great to have the moms and dads there, minus Papa T, we missed you! We celebrated after with Jeffs Favorite.... Chinese. THANK YOU JEFF for all the hard work and love you give to us.. I only hope to return it in other ways. ALL in ALL it was a fantastic day and we look forward to see what comes next, I don't know maybe a BABY! HAPPY LONG WEEKEND! We sure kicked it off right!

Well Calgary over the passed few days or maybe week has been very nice out!! I took advantage of the weather and enjoyed some deck days... all to myself, it felt so good to get some rays! We also took advantage of the warm nights and would walk our neighbors dog, the kids love it. It was also great coming home and having watermelon and rootbeer floats to top it off! This weekend JEff will be going to his Grad!! We are so proud of him, he worked hard and finished with flying colors! I am especially excited for him! He also has a Birthday this weekend, Which I am also excited about, not for any reason just that I love him tons and this is a big year it seems for him! GOOD JOB JEFF YOU DID IT!! On a side note I am 7 month and feeling fine, and the kids have like 6 weeks of school left which is also awesome!!

I got a call today from the school about Quinn and how someone had stolen her lunch and ate it ALL, so they gave her an emergency lunch with rasins and peaches... soo what is your guess do you think she ate it?? you will have to ask her! The look on her face when she was telling me about it was priceless to!

We went to the Zoo today, it was perfect outside and it was nice to have a Family day, Jeff has been really busy lately and we havn't had him to our selfs on a saturday in MONTHS!! BUT we did today. Quinn loved the LIONS, and TIGERS, Carson LOVED the DINO park! I thought the Elephants were the best and the Monkeys always fun to watch. By the end I was HOT, SWEATY, AND SWOLLEN. We went up the Calgary tower the other day, I have only been up there one other time, it's been years. The kids thought the glass floor was awesome and didn't even bat an eye about going on it... me NOPE! I could not do it.. We are finding out what we are having next Monday... We never did find out with the other two, But this time we have some more voices to listen to and they are saying WHAT IS IT WHAT IS IT?? Here are a few shoots of my ever growing belly, I feel like one day I woke up and it was there, I also feel like it sticks straight out , and that is how I carried with Quinn, so I have to think just for a second that's it's a girl. The kids are getting really excited now that they can see that something is really growing in there.. Quinn wakes up every morning and kisses my tummy, she is really starting to like the idea that she will be a big sister for the first time! As for me I feel a million times better, the last 10 weeks were hard, but totally worth it!!! I have been getting into a nice little routine of swimming, walking and slow cycling, and light weight, three times a week, just to keep my energy high! I FEEL GREAT! cant wait to meet this little one!

Well For my Birthday last month Jeff said he had gottin me something that I have wanted for a few years now.. I was thinking of thing I have wanted for a few years .. Camera, new mattress, basement finished, laptop.. well he said it was in the mail and should be here in a week, that was on the 14 of Feb. So I waited and waited I even forgot about it, then today I opened up the mail box and saw what I was hoping was my gift. Opened it and found this....My TWO favorite people in the world hanging on a beautiful chain!! THANK YOU JEFF!!! I Just LOVE it!! Now I can have my kids faces with me all the time! It was worth the wait! we may just have to add one more in the summer! I loved that he remembered how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE silhouettes of anything... I just love them especially these two faces! Did I mention how much I LOVE it!

Was the score of the Hitmen game last night, we took all of carsons favorite people to a game for his birthday! There were just a few favorite people missing.. We are so thankful for Grandpa Gordie for the tickets and the SWEET Suite we got when we were there, all loaded with pop corn and pop for the kids, they later snacked on fries and Hot dogs , nothing better then a hot dog at a hockey game!! They were also decked out in Hitmen Touques. They all looked pretty cute! The kids got pretty excited when the first fight started, and they cheered their hearts out the whole time, I guess that is why they ended up winning? By the third period we made our way down to the lower bowl and got seats 6 rows up from the glass, They really love that, then at the end there were fire works to end off the night.. really loud in a arena... all in all the kids loved it and it's fun to see them cheer and root on a team!

Even though this is one of the shorter months in the year, it seemed like more went on then most months! here are some of the things.. Carson turned 9 and woke up to this! We also had a pizza party the night of his Day with Papa T! We got to Bunny sit and the kids loved it! it was kinda nice to have a little furry friend around, Quinn had a huge fever for a WEEK!! ended in a ear infection, and JEff Broke his nose you all knew that though.

Today is Carsons birthday! I always thought that the year they turned 8 was going to be hard, and it was, but this year has made me sad just a little, he is 9 and FINE! I think of how fast that went, and it did VERY fast in fact, and it makes me sad to think in just that may short years again, he will be a grown man! going on a Mission! I was asking Carson what was some of the high lights of this year, and these were some of a few!

He LOVED turning 8

He Loved getting Baptized

He loved spending time out at the Cabin - his favorite place.

He loved starting school

He loves spending time with his favorite " Friends" cousins

He loved hearing that he was going to be a big brother again

He was so excited to see his other cousins get Baptized

And he loved Going down and skating in the early morning down at the club with his dad before anyone else was there!

Now these are just a few things I love about him.

I love that he gets up early

I volunteered in Quinns class today, I had no idea that kids in grade one could grow a Moustache.... poor kid. I also found out that Quinn was the class nose picker, Poor kid. At least she gets them out instead of being the kid that lets them just hang there, or how about the kid that has gross breath, YUP ran into one of those today to! OH the great thing is , is that we were all one of those kids at some point, even if you dont think you were! YOU WERE!

Mom turned 60 and she look s FABULOUS!!! We also had a FABULOUS paaaaarrtttaaayyyy for her tonight! Lots of family and friends were there and best of all she had no idea it was coming!!! Dad you pulled off a great party! We all love you both!!! I t was also Daves Birthday today and he turned the big 35, we missed him and the rest of the family!!! We hope Dave had a great day to! I'm sure he did!

Carson and I did the cubs end of the year hike it was long hard and I can't believe these little men did it!! I have to thank Darcy Dables for carrying carson half way down.. { Carson had a wicked headache} he finished the rest himself though!! I want to do this with Carson every year it was so neat to get to the top and see your progress! Good job boys! { yearly hike}

MOM'S 60th! she will have a birthday once a year so that is something we will always Celebrate!

I miss kauai and all it's glory I wish that could be a yearly thing for us!
and I just liked this one. This was Quinn on he 6th Birthday!
I am going to start off by saying HAPPY NEW YEAR! Better late then never right? Lots has happened since christmas, so I will play catch up, and see if I can remember most of it. Christmas was GREAT! We spent it with family and friends, and lots of good food. Just before christmas we found out that we will be blessed with another little one that will join us in AUG! OH how far away that feels, BUT now I feel like it's just around the corner. New years was great to, We packed up and spent some time out at the cabin, We had a fire going all the time, games, food, fire works, skating on the lake it was awesome! My kids just was saying the other day how much fun it was out there! GOOD memories for sure! Other then that we just kinda hung out, slept, and enjoyed doing nothing. I started to get PRETTY sick the last night out at the cabin and it got worse from there, I knew it was going to hit{ with the pregnancy} it was just a matter of time, And it's still going strong. so really for the last two months I have been either over the toilet ALL DAY, or... OVer the toilet all day! Thank goodness for Drugs! now I am over the toilet Half the day! Should be getting better soon though! I am 13 weeks and almost done my first trimester. Jeff started school Jan 4th, and is finishing his fourth year electrical! BOY that went by fast. HE is doing great and is good at what he does, He is done March 26th I believe.. I feel like this is a big year for us, LOT going on and with in moths of each other.... Here is looking at a great year!. Also we had a FUN night out a mom and dads the other night to CELEBRATE mom's 60th!! if you ask me she DOESN"T look a day over 35! Love you mom, you have another 60 in you!

I have to say the Trip to Kauai was about as good as it gets ... I loved being with everyone and had a lot of good laughs. I want to thank mom for being the most lovable, caring, funny, spiritual, helpful and BEST mother out there! she really knows how to party!! Love you mom. Really if it wasn't for mom or dad we any of us be who we are today??? I guess we will never know, but I would guess, no we wouldn't.

It was good to get home and see the kids, you don't realy realize how much you miss your kids until you see them! The kids had a GREAT time at Grandma and Grandpa Scott's house! they can't stop talking about the fun morning treats they got before school.. { Tim Horton's } and how Quinn got to sleep in a PINK room.. not like her green room back home. Thank you so much Barb and Gordie, I was able to go get away because of you! We love you!

I was happy to hear while I was gone that Carson had a great Basketball game, He was the MVP scoring 13 out of the 14 points and after three baskets running up to Jeff on the sideline yelling " YES I got a Hat Trick " haha I WISH I could have been there!

Tuesday I got a call from the school the Carson was not well, I picked him up ASAP and he got worse by the minute.. I took him in today to the DR and he has PNEUMONIA. I am worried about him, if he gets this flu that is going around then he could be in danger. we are hopeing he gets better fast. Quinn is also not well, fevers and chills, we are having to keep a close eye on her to.. I guess is will be a lot of sleepless nights and prayers...and some tears!

IT HAS BEEN A CRAZY DAY!!! BUT FUUUNNNNN.....

Quinns Birthday Party was today! and let's just say it was a FULL house! Lot's of fun and good food.. I later the same day feed the missionaries, A full on Cafe Rio dinner with a little added bonus dish, I will let Jessica tell you about it! I think she liked it. here are the pics..

so here I am with two kids in school all day... what to do what to do? I found out that you still are busy with stuff, and I often wonder how I was getting everything done in a day when the kids weren't in school all day? Well, it's a month into the kids school year, and I find that my routine is getting quite boring. I made some goals for our family and for me at the start of the school year, because I knew I would find myself in this position eventually. BORED! Because I knew this would happen , I made a goal to do some sort of service everyday for someone, so far I have! That alone has been really rewarding for me! I also made a goal to get a job, one that was close to home and worth the time I was to be there, I thought of what I was good at and what I would enjoy.. SO MANY thing came to my mind that I would like to go do, { maybe not for the things I am good at, but for the things I would like to go do} There is a nice little SPA in crowfoot, and when I mean nice I mean 550$ couples massages! you get the point! and I went in there to check it out! I had a really great chat with one of the managers, and when I left I felt good about it and it seems to be a good place to work.

I am also really wanting to expand or FIND my talents, I feel that when you are busy looking after so many other people you lose YOU! on the other hand you find out your better at things that you didn't think you were good at... I found out I am a good cleaner and I actually enjoy it.. I also found out I am a good snuggler and story teller, lunch maker, cookie maker { according to my kids } and tickler! It's just to bad you don't get paid to do those things!

Because I have had time to let my mind wander, I have been able to think about really great meals to prepare for the family, I have enjoyed cooking lately, it's been fun to make something different and get there reactions and maybe put a new meal idea in the boring cycle of food we eat at our house. I also want to walk in the foot steps of my sisters and sis in laws and learn how to be creative and sew, I have also thought about small classes or courses at Mount Royal, weekender things! I would LOVE to go take a Theatrical makeup class, I LOVE to work with makeup, That is one thing I would love to touch up on! so these are some of my goals for the next LONG TIME! I guess I better fill my days with service and learning, besides isn't that what were here for??

we have a new family member, he is great, quiet, stink free, change his box every 6 months and he eats popcorn and hotdogs. What a great pet! we love him already! He has two different shells he changes into when he wants, we watched him do it today and it was really cool. he is sure to live for 15 years! I guess we will see....

So we have been having FUN out here at the cabin, it all started in Calgary when Jeff and I went to a friends birthday party at Boleros! YUMMY then on the way home { late } and driving to the cabin that night, we ran out of gas at the corner of Stoney and Crowchild. Jeff thought we could have made it into Tuscany, he was wrong! The only number I had on my phone who I thought I could call that late was Laurie Glenn, so I called, Spencer was out of town so she said to call Jenn Andrews, so we got our gas.. THANK YOU. we got to the cabin pretty late. The next day the boys did their sprint and we had a great time with Tam and John! we love them! so now it's just the girls, with a few little boys running around. We have been just hanggin and eating good! {cafe Rio tongiht } another YUMMMY! can't wait for the dads to get here on the weekend, we sure miss them. enjoy the pics and the special video at the end! it's a Tribute to DEE.. We are having a great time out at the cabin, one of the highlights was watching Dad and JEff do their swim down at the beach, they did awesome! The wet suits fit like a glove with the help of mom, and after their bike and run, they both got to have a nap on the beach! kinda, until our umbrella decided to fly away and stab a girl in the face! { sorry no pics of that } but it got her good! Mom and I are planning on having a hard day at the beach tomorrow, making sand castles, eating junk and drinking pop. it's a hard life. Enjoy the pictures.

Also the kids and I have been out there by our selfs for a few days and it great, very quiet, and have had fun at the beach and feeding the horses.. ice cream, the list goes on, mom and I also hit up the fair that was going on in town, lots of great food, fun stuff to see, mom, carson and I even won us a free round of golf at the Fairmont Golf course! time to go...

This was a BUSY BUSY weekend it felt like, two trips to the hospital in the middle of the night, a movie, a birthday cake and dinner, Sick husband, and probably the best weather we have had yet! And it was all in the name of LOVE! Well at least the dinner I made and the yummy birthday cake. This post is for My loving husband who does so much for me and the kids! Easter Sunday!

Today was a warm day... got kinda chilly in the evening , but not a bad day! My car was in the shop today so mom helped drop off the Quinn in the afternoon at school, I decided to walk down and get the kids from school when they were done, because I didn't have a car. The walked all the way home and liked it... it's pretty far to! When I got home Jessica was at my house and she was on a walk to, so we decided to take the kids to the park, I think it was a long winter cause the kids played and played and played. When Jeff got home we decided to go swimming for FHE, just as Quinn and I get in the pool the Fire alarm goes off, and they tell everyone to get out of the pool, we were all standing there wet and cold... well then they told everyone at the YMCA to get out of the building.. so out we went wet, cold and only in our towels ... for a good 20 mins. by the time we went back in the water felt like a hot tub cause we were to cold! Jeff got some training in tonight for the TRI ... I'm so excited for him! .... I am including some pics of the new Bass store we went to over the weekend! it's huge and FUN! The weather had been great the passed what...three days! and I have been taking full advantage sitting out on the deck, walks, riding bikes, and tomorrow going to go walk Jordan Dog... Quinn and I have a little dog walking business. Easter is tomorrow and I thought the kids were looking a little ragged so I purposed a Chop Shop session.... Hair cuts! I wacked off Quinns hair and gave Carson the usual so they would look clean for Pictures. Jeff was next in line but unfortunately the FLAMES won so his hair stays put for now... sorry mom! We feel kinda lonely here with everyone been out of town. Hope everyone has a great EASTER!

EARTH HOUR

Today was Earth Hour! SOOO at 8:30 from 9:30 we unplugged everything. We lite candles and sat in the dark for an hour. Sounds fun hey, Well it was, We went to the store and bought earthy food { grapes, watermelon, stawberries } And the kids thought it was going to be like camping so we had to get smore stuff. We sat and talked about how lucky we are to even have power and back in the day this is how they lived. It seemed dark at first but then it felt bright in the house and it was really quiet and peaceful, we all had fun and the kids were sad it had to end. The kids want to do this once a week so I guess we will have Earth Day every family home evening, if you want to live in the past for an hour come to our house around 6 on mondays!

All in all we had fun lighting the candles, eating fruit and smores and taking fun Earth Day family pictures in the DARK. Oh and the kids cant wait for the Movie EARTH to come out on April 22! I have been impressed with Carson, he really takes a liking to space, earth and anything to do with recycling ..He is my earth muffin! He especially is looking forward to the movie. He sits and watches the trailer over and over, I dont blame him it does look pretty awesome! enjoy the way to many pictures I posted.

We have had our basement developed for about 3 years now, And I can never get the kids to go play down there.. not kidding they have Never just gone down there by them selfs and played NEVER.. they run around up here and I will say , you guys have the whole basement to go have fun it, now go play.. Well I had to say that today AGAIN, and what do you know they did. SO they played and played, well Quinn came up a long time after and told me she had "hung" some of her pictures on the wall, I thought oh on the CORK board I have down there for them, ok... SO I go down there and well pictures speak louder the words.........I have 20 holes in my wall. Thanks Quinn your pictures are great!

Well it finally came.. I was dreading this day would come, and it came to fast. I remember sitting in the hospital right after I had Carson and having flashes of this day. For some reason I have never worried about Carson, He has a gentle spirit about him and he has a love for others, he is a pleaser and a good example. The Baptism was great! Dad gave a great talk and we had all our loved ones there. minus a few, we were thinking of you! I had to fight back tears, and let a few slide the spirit was strong, I just want to thank everyone for coming and supporting! We have a wonderful family.. As Jeff and I drove home from mom and dads tonight, we had a different feeling to of responsibility. And how it wasn't just Carson who went through a change but also us as parents.. it is a neat feeling! We want everyone to know how much we love and appreciate Carson being in our home! And I know he loves all of you family members so much ..Audrey He misses you and hopes you have a great Baptism to, he is excited for you! Dahl he misses running with you and playing football, and Ty he misses making you laugh! Preston he misses playing with you and giggling! And as for the rest of the cousins, Carson was so happy that you could be here he couldn't stop talking about it all the way home! I asked Carson if he felt different, and he said he felt older. Mom and Dad thank you for helping out and for all your support all your Grandkids are great because of you guys! AND I CANT BELIEVE IT BUT.... As I was uploading all the pictures I noticed I dont have one with Carson and DAD! I am so upset...... how did that happen? AHHHH. THe only picture I get of dad is serving others.. of course dad is the best example of that! I'm sorry dad, I will have to get one tomorrow.

LAst night we celebrated Carsons Birthday Party, We took 6 boys down to the Dome for a fun night of Hockey, hotdogs, popcorn, pop, ice cream and CJ enjoyed a pretzel that some how ended up on my lap.. you will see in the pics! I think everyone enjoyed them selfs, and we need to thank Grandpa Gordie for all the first class treatment we got down there. Carson is 8 and will be getting baptized next SATURDAY! We are so proud of him to take that important step in life.. ANd I know he is REALLY REALLY excited about it! It will be nice to have the Burtons and the Scotts and other friends Join us for this important day! Enjoy the pictures! I am almost positive the adults had more fun then the kids!

The other day I was up in Royal Oak and I stopped by Sobey's we needed some avocados so I was looking for them when I all of the sudden was amazed at what I was seeing, I felt like i was in Guacamole heaven { we love avocados } I picked two out and drove home fast! Well lets just say we have been feasting on one of these now for three days and still have another one left...yuuummmy, Sandra gave me a great sandwich recipe that I am now having again for the fourth day in a row and still have a whole avocado left! Quinn also learns the cutest songs at school so I though I would add one of my favorites she was really into this one!

I think I say this a lot...but nothing is to new! The kids are loving school, Carson is doing well in his swim classes, and we are trying to figure out what Quinn would have fun in?? I ended up getting mono again, I guess I get run down a lot, and it hits me.. We have had our flu for the year I hope that was it, and the weather is changing fast, to fast. Quinn turned 5 the big 5! We had a fun thanksgiving, last week, with an extra long weekend , which was nice! This weekend Jeff, Sandra, Cj and I all went to Feist, she was so good! It was fun to get out... I hadn't been out in awhile due to sleeping 24/7 with mono. Well that raps up my month, Like I said nothing to new.

My title is the egg commercial I just saw, get cracking! It has almost been a year since my last post, not bad hey?! Well we had a great summer, lot's of cabin time, family reunion and more cabin. The kids have started school, Carson loves grade two and Quinn is happy with Kindergarten. And I am happy with the mornings to myself!!! The kids are doing good at waking up early and going to bed at a good time. This will be an awesome year. I have a hard time writing about my daily events, only because I lead a really ordinary life. I wish I had more to talk about, I personally just love to see pictures when I look at blogs , so I have decided to let my pictures do the talking. If anything really great happens, I will for sure let all of you know......

well, My last post was in October, we had Quinns B-Day and some fun parties. Then next thing we were looking forward to was Dec, My family was all going to Kauia and we were very ecxited, but before all of that I wasnt feeling so well and got MONO, how? who knows. Anyways, the trip was SO much fun, we hiked alot, ate the best shrimp possible and snorkled with Sea Turtles the size of Jeff everyday. It really was a great trip, we cant wait to go back. The day we got home Jeff started to feel sick, this is a week before Christmas. Well it hit all of us during and after christmas and new years, so we were in the house for like two weeks, with bad coughs, head colds, flu, the worst part was I think we might have givin it to my mom, SORRY! We really missed hangin with the family, and Just seeing everyone. I hope next year will be differant. The kids are all back in school now and Jeff started on Monday as well, he is in his Second year, just two more to go. I have ZERO pictures of christmas this year, it's like it never happened . How sad.

I knew you would stay on my site and read if I had a title like that! No we are not pregnant, but thanks for caring enough to keep reading. We have had a great start of the year, I got Mono I have a child that is afraid of the weather and really concerned about what he wears to school everyday and Quinn just wont go to prymary anymore, it's been great. I hope the year keeps getting better! Quinn had her fourth Birthday this Confrence Sunday, It was great we just hung out. We will have a party for her in a couple of weeks, due to my Mono. She woke up really excited and kept telling me how much she grew last night cause she is Four now! Jeff has been workin away and Cant wait to get back to school, but before all that happens we will be going to Hawii with the rest of the family, we are very excitied only because we havn't gone anywhere alone on a trip since our honeymoon eight years ago. HORRAY! we really can't wait. We took some pictures today fro Quinns birthday down at Bowness Park it was windy and Alittle cold, the kids had fun running through all the leaves.
